WippUnderlay isn’t a flashy tool everyone will notice. In fact, if people are noticing it its not doing it’s job! It’s designed to dim the background so any graphics or text you add become more readable. It takes something from “meh, that’s hard to read” to “Wow! That looks great!”. It animates on/off using the AnimEngine and easily lets you customize stuff like its size, color, and opacity!
About EditorCollection Tools
EditorCollection tools are designed to be highly customizable while still being very easy to learn. This is done in a few ways, first by having a very clean and understandable user interface. If you have used Resolve for awhile, you can probably figure it out. The second way is by having overlapping systems, the best example of this is the AnimEngine. The AnimEngine framework is what powers the EditorCollection tools and allows you to customize everything about the animation right from the edit page without using any keyframes! Finally, these tools are easy to learn since each one has its own dedicated tutorial!
